All of our dresses are custom-made to order and can be customized and altered upon request (additional fees may apply). Lace patterns may vary depending on availability. Design time is approximately 3-4 weeks depending on schedule availability. Rush services are available for an additional fee, but we recommend placing your order as soon as possible. Once we receive your order our design team will make contact to confirm measurements, schedule availability, and estimated time of completion and delivery.
There is a $50 additional fee for sizes over 16 and for custom colors (Colors other than white or ivory). Please contact us for color charts.
This is a guide for choosing a standard size dress. Please compare your measurements to the chart below to ensure proper fit. If you're having your dress custom sized it's highly recommended that you hire a professional to do your measurements.
For standard, non-custom orders (i.e. sizes 2-28W) please send the following measurements so we can ensure proper off-rack sizing. We know that few things are more disappointing than receiving your dress and it doesn't fit, so we do our best to make sure standard orders fit as closely as possible. We'll even send suggested alterations when applicable.

Choosing the right fabric for your dress:
When ordering a dress online, we believe it's crucial to see and feel the fabric that will be used for your dress. Although white and Ivory seem like basic colors, they may look different on your monitor or screen than they will in person, also, many people mistake ivory for cream. Therefore, we highly recommend ordering swatches to ensure your dress is as perfect as you expect it to be. This also helps ensure your dress will match accessories like veil and shoes.
If you're unfamiliar with the basic bridal fabrics we offer free samples (you pay $2 shipping only) in standard colors. You can order swatches by clicking the appropriate swatch and color for your dress. below. The most common fabrics are tulle, satin, and chiffon. Although, because we source our fabrics, laces, and embellishments from around the world we're able to use just about any fabric you can imagine. If you are looking for something outside of the standard fabrics used, please speak with your designer to obtain samples.
Due to space restrictions, we are unable to stock all colors beyond the basics. So, colored samples may take a few extra days. If you can't find the color you're looking for not to worry, for an additional fee, our dye team is able to create just about any color you can imagine, but keep in mind, custom dyed fabrics will add an additional 14-days to production time so be sure to order far enough ahead. Weddings are stressful enough without the added worry of wondering if your dress will fit when you get it. Ordering a wedding dress online can add to that stress greatly, So, Hera Brides makes every single wedding gown from scratch using your exact measurements which, in most cases, eliminates or greatly reduces the need for alterations. And guess what? We don't charge a penny extra for this service! (There are additional fees for dress design modifications) Even if you order a standard size, we still make your dress to order.
Upon ordering your wedding dress you'll receive a welcome email with a list of measurements we'll need from you. We strongly urge you to allow a professional that is familiar with bridal gowns, take these measurements. Our design staff is on stand-by for any questions you might have. Once we receive your measurements, we'll create your wedding dress to you exact size (no stress eating if you can help it).
Before shipping your dress we triple check all of your measurements to ensure they are correct. Hera Brides is not responsible for incorrect measurements given to us. We totally depend on you for accurate measurements and encourage you to make the small investment (Usually under $20) and let a professional do them for you.
